Parenting Connection WA (South West)

Parenting Connection WA is a new approach to supporting parents in many communities around the State, including the Southwest.

Formed in April 2017, Anglicare WA, Ngala and Wanslea joined forces to bring their parenting knowledge and skills to nine regions across the State under one umbrella. This partnership is known as Parenting Connection WA. The nine regions include the Kimberley, Gascoyne, Midwest, North West Metro, Peel, Southwest, Goldfields-Esperance, Wheatbelt and the Great Southern.

Its mission is for parents to have the knowledge, skills and confidence to be the best parents they can be.

Parenting Connection WA will work with local communities to identify specific parenting needs; ensuring services are the right fit for that community.

Delivery of specific parenting services/ support/ events can be provided directly by Parenting Connection WA staff or via small community grants to suitable professionals/ organisations within the community.

All workshops and services provided and/or funded by Parenting Connection WA are evidenced based and utilise a consistent approach and framework.
