Welcome to Radiance

Welcome

Hello!
We’re so glad you’ve taken this step to getting support and we’ll do our best to do so in anyway we can.

Before you join us at the Support Group, or have our Outreach worker visit you at home, we would greatly appreciate it if you could complete these two forms:

We respect and honour your thoughts and privacy but what you put into these forms helps us a lot in giving you the support that you need (or help you access it elsewhere). Your answers are really important to Radiance’s development and ability to remain a free peer-led support group network.

Before you join the group, you might also like to read our general guidelines for the support group to ensure everyone is heard and comfortable.
Values

Inclusiveness — We are non-judgemental, non-discriminatory and accepting of all people.
Respect — We will treat everyone with respect and recognise each individual for his/her own unique strengths. We treat others with the highest degree of dignity and understanding.
Holistic — Means that we are interested in engaging with and developing the whole person in all ways.
Compassion — We have a deep awareness and understanding of the needs and complexities of each individual. We want to make a difference to those that need it most.
Choice — We will support the individual’s right to choose so that they feel heard and supported every step of the way.
Trust — We recognise that trust is a key element of the success of all relationships in the network.

At Radiance, all staff have experienced difficulties with mental wellbeing in the perinatal period (conception to child’s age of 2).

We’ll hold space for your thoughts and emotions and help you where we can. We are non-judgemental, non-discriminatory and accepting of all people.
